Cathay Pacific’s Head of Sales and Country Lead for Nepal, Junu Maleku, said: "We feel energized by the fact that travel is truly back on the cards for our customers. The enhanced schedule will provide our customers with more options and accessibility to travel, particularly during the festival season and peak tourist season in Nepal. It is overwhelming to receive a favorable response from passengers and trade partners as we fully commit to rebuilding connectivity through our hub, Hong Kong. We currently cover more than 70 destinations around the world, catering to business travelers and students, and we slowly even see leisure trips increasing."

Maintaining its focus on connecting Hong Kong to the world, Cathay Pacific is actively working to add more flights to its schedule to satisfy customer demand, in particular between Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. Between now and the end of October, the number of return flights will be progressively increased to about 160 per week, covering 16 airports in 15 cities. This includes four return flights per day to Beijing, six return flights per day to Shanghai Pudong Airport, and nine return flights per week to Shanghai Hongqiao airport.

Cathay Pacific's Airbus A330 aircraft offers travellers flying from Kathmandu a luxurious and comfortable experience on their Kathmandu-Hong Kong route. The two-class cabin layout includes business and economy classes, with award-winning business class seats for ultimate comfort. Economy class is not forgotten, offering state-of-the-art inflight entertainment with four times more content than before, including popular movies, TV shows, and music.

Cathay Pacific is now offering exclusive offers for those traveling to Hong Kong and beyond, with COVID-19 restrictions lifted, including the compulsory face coverings. Customers booking their tickets through Cathay Pacific's website can enjoy the flexibility of purchasing tickets with a mix of Miles Plus Cash as well as an array of other offers. These include student discounts to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, and 20% off Hong Kong's Airport Express service for those traveling to Hong Kong.

As the home carrier of Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific is also excited to support the "World of Winners" Ticket Offers campaign, where travellers stand a chance to win round-trip tickets to Hong Kong.   Customers can sign up to become Cathay members and enter the lucky draw.
