Australian climber Allie Pepper is aiming to climb all 14 of the world's tallest mountains without extra oxygen in just two years

Australian climber Allie Pepper is aiming to climb all 14 of the world's tallest mountains without extra oxygen in just two years. She recently did a four-day hike in Nepal's Langtang Valley to get ready for climbing Mount Annapurna-I. With her guide Mingtemba Sherpa, she trekked from Syabrubeshi to Lama Hotel, then to Kyanjin Gumpa, and climbed up to Kyanjin Ri, Tsergo Ri, and beyond Yala Kharka, reaching heights over 5000 meters.

During her trek, Pepper enjoyed beautiful mountain views, saw monkeys and birds, and met friendly locals in villages. Her climbing partner Mikel Sherpa thinks she's strong and determined and believes she'll succeed in her goal. He's seen her dedication during their previous climb of Mount Manaslu without extra oxygen.

Pepper's got a busy schedule ahead, planning to climb Mounts Annapurna-I, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga in Nepal this spring, then Nanga Parbat and K2 in Pakistan. Despite the tough challenges, she wants to inspire other people, especially women, to follow their dreams.

Her past achievements include climbing Broad Peak and Mt. Manaslu without extra oxygen. Her journey shows that with hard work and courage, anyone can reach their goals.
