Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Asta Laxmi Shakya has said that the culture and traditions of Nepal are the common property of all the castes and communities.

CM Shakya said so while addressing a tea reception organized by the CPN (UML) Makawanpur branch in Hetauda today. Describing the festivals which have been evolving as the country's cultural heritages as invaluable assets, she extended her best wishes to all the Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of the Dashain, Tihar, the Nepal Sambat New Year, and the Chhath festival. 

The Chief Minister expressed that the Province Government would work towards protecting and preserving all the religions, cultures, and traditions of the country. 

The province government ministers, the federal and provincial lawmakers representing Makawanpur, the local level people's representatives, and the representatives of various political parties attended the greetings exchange cum tea reception event organized on the occasion of the Bijaya Dashami, Tihar, Nepal Sambat, and Chhath festivals.
