Chief of Gandaki Province Prithviman Gurung said that the International Mountain Museum is a live example of mountain life and culture.
In an onsite visit of the International Mountain Museum managed by the Nepal Mountaineering Association in Pokhara Metropolitan City-17, the Province Chief stressed running the museum by making it well organized.
Likewise, Gurung said that the museum should be developed as a popular tourism destination through publicity campaigns.
The museum was reopened for the visitors last week after its closure for more than four months due to the spread of coronavirus infection.
Currently, around 70 domestic and international persons visit the museum for study and inspection, Sarita Kandel, an official, said.
