Teri is a Hotel Management graduate from IHM Pusa, New Delhi in 1999. Over the years, he has had the privilege of working with several reputed national and international hospitality brands.
Currently serving as the Associate Vice President – Nepal at Lords Hotels & Resorts, Shailej N. Teri is based in Kathmandu, where he oversees sales and operations for all properties in Nepal. He is also responsible for the development of new properties in the region. Having spent over a decade in Nepal, his core competencies include operational excellence, guest satisfaction, achieving high operational profitability, marketing and brand building, and nurturing strong, high-performing teams.
His goal is to elevate True Value Hospitality standards by ensuring that every guest experience reflects the quality and commitment of Lords Hotels & Resorts.
Could you share your experience managing hotels and hospitality properties at a senior level, and what motivated you to pursue a leadership career in the hospitality industry?
My journey in hospitality has been driven by a deep passion for creating memorable guest experiences and fostering a culture of excellence. I have had the opportunity to lead diverse teams across multiple properties, where each day brings new challenges and learning opportunities.
What motivates me most is the dynamic nature of this industry—every day presents a chance to learn, inspire, delight guests, and make a positive impact on both our team and our guests.
