Taplejung seeks help from Tibet as Covid-19 cases surge

Taplejung, a mountainous district in the Province 1, has sought help from the Tibet Government fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Taplejung, a mountainous district in the Province 1, has sought help from the Tibet Government fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The district has called the bordering Dinjie County for  the medical assistance to curb the infection risk.  The district has written the County, urging the later to provide it 11 types of most essential supplies including disposable medical masks, antigen test kits, N-95 mask, PPEs , thermal guns  and oxygen cylinders.

District Coordination Committee chief Ghanendra Maden said they have sought help from Tibet as the Covid-19 cases are surging in the district.  Taplejung is getting assistance from the County  during hard times.
