Simrik Air Helicopter has inducted an Airbus H125 (AS350 B3e) helicopter, registration 9N-AOO, into its operational fleet, strengthening its capability to conduct missions across Nepal’s demanding high-altitude and mountainous terrain.
Widely regarded as the global benchmark for high-altitude performance, the Airbus H125 is trusted for mountain rescue, medical evacuation, pilgrimage flights, and remote charter operations. The fleet enhancement reinforces Simrik Air’s support for government agencies, tourism and trekking operators, diplomatic missions, NGOs and INGOs, corporate clients, and emergency response services, ensuring improved safety, efficiency, and operational flexibility.
Specifically designed for extreme terrain and environmental conditions, the Airbus H125 enhances Simrik Air’s high-altitude operational flexibility and responsiveness. The helicopter will be deployed for mountain rescue and emergency evacuation, high-altitude longline rescue, cargo sling load operations, trekking support flights, aerial firefighting and concrete bucket operations, aerial survey and filming, VIP and corporate charters, pilgrimage flights, remote access support, and skydiving operations.
With this addition, Simrik Air now operates four helicopters: three Airbus H125s and one Bell 505 Jet Ranger X, reaffirming its commitment to safe and reliable aviation services in Nepal’s challenging high-altitude environment.
