The government has formed a probe committee to find out the truth and facts regarding complaints about high fares charged to passengers in the name of the chartered flight.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation formed a four-member probe committee under the coordination of joint-secretary at the Ministry, Suresh Acharya, to investigate complaints that travel agencies have been selling tickets at a high price from passengers, who have got permission to go to Hong Kong and Japan.
The probe committee has seven days to submit its report, reads the press release issued by the Ministry.
