Landslide blocks Mahakali Highway

The Mahakali Highway has been disrupted due to a landslide.

The Mahakali Highway has been disrupted due to a landslide. The road has been blocked by the landslide occurred at Dharamghar of Surnaya Rural Municipality -3 along Satbanjha-Gokuleshwor section of the Highway.

Police Inspector Darshan Khadka informed the landslide triggered by incessant rains for the past few days has blocked the Highway since 9:00 am. 

Following the traffic disruption, over 20 vehicles have got stuck on the midway. Passengers are left stranded.  Until the filing of this report, efforts were on to clear off the landslide deposition and resume the traffic. It has been the fourth time that the landslide disrupted the Highway in a week.
