According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the airline has submitted a plan to operate regular flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa one month from now.
Although the company has submitted a plan to operate regular flights, it is said that the flight schedule proposal is yet to come. Kuwait's Jazeera Airways is currently flying regularly from Bhairahawa. The authority said that with the start of regular flights of Kuwait Air, the market will become more competitive.
“This air started the Kuwait-Nepal charter flight only last Monday. According to him, the company started the diplomatic process about two months ago for Kuwait-Nepal two-way flight and initially started the charter flight.” said Pradeep Adhikari, Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
“The company has started charter flights and has already taken the schedule along with the tourist arrivals, so it is allowed to fly from Tribhuvan International Airport. Bhairahawa destination will be established for the company for charter flights and this company has already submitted a plan to start regular flights in Bhairahawa from next December.” Said Jagannath Niraula, spokesperson of the authority._Rss
