Aiming to promote tourism in Yarmasing located in Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-3 of Sindhupalchok, the Aama group has operated a guesthouse.
For the convenience of tourists visiting Bhairav Kund, Duguna gadhi and other tourist spots, a group of mothers here has run a homestay. Homestay has been conducted in 20 houses in Yarmasingh village. At least two rooms are reserved for guests in every house.
The guests are also shown a dance that reflects the local Sherpa culture. It has become easier to come to Dugunagadhi and other areas after the homestay was put into operation.
It is one of the 10 historical forts of the country. It is said that the then Prime Minister Janga Bahadur fought a war with Tibet in the corner of Pahara, giving artistic expression to the huge rocks on the flat terrain and beautiful hills. There is also an inscription that the Nepali side attacked Tibet from this fort under the cover of a rock.
“The homestay was started because the tourist villages of Chhagam, and Listimai temple pass through this road. Such a service was available even before the earthquake. The homestay is located near the historic Duguna Gadhi. Due to the reconstruction of Duguna Gadhi after the 2072 earthquake, the number of tourists coming here has increased. The Gourishankar conservation area has also taken the initiative to operate a homestay here.” said Pasang buti Sherpa, president of the mother group._Rss
