The CPN (Maoist Center) has honored Everest climber Hari Budha Magar. The 43-year-old reached the top of the world's highest mountain on May 19, becoming the first double above-the-knee amputee to accomplish this feat. Party Vice-Chair Krishna Bahadur Mahara honored the climber, the ex-Gurkha army, amidst a program organized today at the party central office in Parisdanda.

It has been reported that Budha Magar is preparing to launch a 'world peace campaign,' and in support of this initiative, Mahara pledged full assistance on behalf of the party._Rss
