Under the direction of Cycle City Bhairahawa, the cycling team set out on Friday and reached Tanahun on Sunday. On Friday, Home Minister Balkrishna Khan bid the team farewell.
Cyclists reached Manungkot in Byas Municipality-5 of Tanahun on the third day. The team reached Manungkot in the evening via Bhimad, Khairenitar, and Jamuna in Tanahun. The journey that started from Bhairahawa will end by reaching Manungkot in Byas Municipality-5 of Tanahun. The program has been decided to reach Manungkot and return to Bhairahawa via Chitwan. Although 70 members are affiliated to Bhairahawa Cycle City, 16 are participating in the cycle tour.
Byas Municipality Deputy Chief Indira Darai and Ward President Bishnu Kumar Shrestha welcomed and honored the cyclists. At the same time, Cyclists have also been welcomed by the Jantang Panthera Community Forest User Group located in Myagde Rural Municipality-2. Cyclists are welcomed in a tree house built in the community forest. Dhirendra Shrestha, a cyclist, responded that the house built on a tree is very good for promoting tourism. Shiv Bahadur Ranabhat, the ward president of Myagde-2, Saraswati Ranabhat, the vice president of Jantang Panthera Community Forest, and others welcomed the cyclists with flower garlands.
The first day of the journey started from Bhairahawa and passed through Butwal, Palpa Bertung, Aryabhanjang, Chidipani, and Humin to Tahun Dhobadhi, on the second day the journey started from Dhobadhi and reached Rambhadevi Temple, Tahun Bazar, Birkot, Rampur. On the third day, cycling was done through Bhimad Bazar to Manungkot via Khairenitar, Jamuna Bhanjyang, and Chapaghat.
“The cycle trip was conducted with the aim of promoting internal tourism. We have traveled by bicycle with the aim of promoting internal tourism through bicycle tourism. Our journey continues continuously. A cycling tour was held in Arghakhanchi last year.” Said Suryakumar Saru Magar, President of Cycle City Bhairahawa.
“Bicycles have become an important tool in people's daily lives. Due to the high cost of petrol, we have been emphasizing the use of bicycles. Cycling is also effective in terms of health.” He added.
