The country has recorded a record high of 8,287 cases of COVID-19 as the second wave of the crisis is raging across the country.

The country has recorded a record high of 8,287 cases of COVID-19 as the second wave of the crisis and its more contagious variant is raging across the country. 

With this, the number of the infected individuals to date reached 385,890. Similarly, altogether 3,370 got recovered in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Likewise, the virus killed 53 individuals in the past 24 hours taking the national death to 3,632 so far. 
Presently, the number of active cases is counted at 83,493 while 298,765 have been cured to date.
