A total of 1,353 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the past 24 hours across the country.

A total of 1,353 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the past 24 hours across the country.  According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the cases were identified while testing RT-PCR on 9,836 individuals.  Of them, 424 new cases were reported in the Kathmandu Valley alone. 

With the recent update, the COVID-19 tally reached 633,679 in the country till June 27. According to the Ministry, COVID-19 infection rate in the country is slightly more than 19 per cent. 

Similarly, the Ministry confirmed that 3,007 infected patients have recovered today. With this, a total of 58 4,334 individuals got recovered so far. The recovery rate is 91.9 in the country.

The Ministry said that 34 infected patients died in the past 24 hours. The Ministry confirmed that total deaths caused by COVID-19 infection reached 9,009 till June 27.
