Medical goods have been provided to various local units, the District Hospital Simkhet and the security personnel in the district. This assistance has been made available through the United Mission to Nepal (UMN) to contribute to the fight against COVID-19

The medical goods distributed on Sunday include oxygen, PPE sets, pulse oxymeter, surgical masks, folding beds and mattresses to hospital and health safety materials required for isolation, UMN's Bajhang team leader Jyoti Chapain said. The medical goods are worth Rs 1.64 million.

Chief of the District Hospital, Sandip Okheda and Chief District Officer, Mohan Adhikari, thanked UMN and its partner organisations for providing the health assistance at the time of need.
