Many Nepalese and foreign tourists have visited Baglung’s bungee jump. It is now quite well-known

Vikas Ghimire of Hetauda visited Balewa of Baglung and Kushma Bazar of Parbat three times in the bungee jump built on the Kaligandaki River. The satisfaction is still there, even after visiting three times. Ghimire has been staying in Kushma for three days and observing the lamas and high suspension bridges, ziplines, bungees, and sky cycling that have been built around here.

Along with bungees, more than half a dozen structures including restaurants, Guleli ping, and sky cycling have been built in the Balewa area. Tourists have begun to flock to those structures as well. Now the number of people doing swing, sky cycling, and bungee is increasing.

The construction of the structure was started with an estimate of Rs. 200 million initially while constructing the bungee jump, but as the cost increased, so far around Rs. 500 million has been spent. The cost of constructing many other structures along with bungees is high.

The construction of the bridge was started in the year 2073 and by the year 2076, the construction of the resort was also completed. Its length is 525 meters. The height of the bridge from the river is 228 meters. The company has been claiming the world's second-tallest bungee and the world's tallest swing. Business is increasing in Balewa and Kushma due to bungee jumping.

“I will stay in Baglung for a few more days as there is a clean environment and many ways to enjoy. My physical and mental health improved when I came to visit. This is our family tour for a few more days. We will return after visiting Baglung and the places of interest in the mountains,” said Ghimire.

"At first, I was very scared while bungee jumping, but after jumping, it is very fun when I reach the bottom. I want to bungee once again, I want to arrange a vacation and come back next time. The view of Kaligandaki River below and Dhawalagiri Mountain above along with the bungee. This place does not exist anywhere in the world," said Dhakal

“This place and the bungee are very fun, my grandson showed this bungee video on his mobile phone. I was very happy to see the video. I got a chance to come here today. Thanks to whoever made it," said 83-year-old Jamuna Adhikari, who came to visit from Pokhara

“Although hundreds of domestic and foreign tourists come to bungee every day, only a limited number of people do cycling and bungee. The arrival of foreign tourists has been increasing recently. More tourists come on holidays, now three to four hundred tourists come here every day, but only a few do bungee jumping. When we started, the arrival of tourists was very low, now it is increasing," said Prakash Pradhan, the owner of The Clip Pvt._Rss
