Four Corona Virus infected people undergoing treatment at two hospitals in Chitwan district died on Monday. Three died in course of treatment at Chitwan Medical College (CMC) while next one died at College of Medical Sciences (CMS).

According to the Chitwan District Health Office, the deceased are one each from Tanahun, Bara, Rupandehi and Kapilvastu districts. A total of 13 people are undergoing treatment in ventilator in three hospitals of the district.

Similarly, 64 infected ones are receiving treatment at ICU and 46 at High Dependency Unit. Of them, 24 are at Bharatpur Hospital, eight at CMC and 14 at CMS. Out of 220 infected people receiving treatment at different hospitals of the district, 106 are in Bharatpur Hospital, 78 at CMC and 36 at CMS. 

A total of 110 beds have been allocated for COVID-infected people at Bharatpur Hospital, 139 beds at CMC and 100 beds at CMS in the district.
