Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai has instructed the project head and the Chinese contractor North West Company to complete the work of Gautam Buddha Airport under construction within 25 days.

After an on-site inspection of the airport on Saturday, Minister Bhattarai said, "I will give you 25 days of homework." Both the project head and the construction businessman should reply to me after 25 days, the work should be completed. ”

He also expressed confidence that Gautam Buddha Airport would be number one in the national project in the near future. He said, "The project that was backed up in the past is being completed."

Stating that the work has been affected due to Corona, he said that all efforts are being made to bring some foreign skilled manpower required for equipment connection to Nepal. Minister Bhattarai said, “They come as much as possible. If they don't come because of Corona, then Nepali manpower will work. ”

Chief Admission Officer of the project said that the work of the project has been completed 92 percent and the remaining work has been stopped due to non-arrival of manpower from abroad. He said that civil work was continuing even during the lockdown. Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yadav Koirala said that the work should be completed on time. He said, "The work should be completed on time."
