The tourism festival has been started in Mallarani and Syaulibang of Pyuthan for the upcoming New Year 2081. The decision has been made to conduct the food festival in Mallarani, a tourist destination situated in the head of Khalanga Municipality. The chairman Vasuprasad Shrestha mentioned that the festival will be organized more systematically than last year.
Due to various tourist infrastructures including zip lines being constructed in Mallarani lately, there is an expectation that more tourists will visit compared to last year. Likewise, the third Nau Bahini – Kothebir Agricultural and Tourism Festival has been organized in Syaulibang Municipality-1, Nawalparasi.
Kothebir Development Center Nepal's chairman Purna Budhathoki informed that the festival will be held from Chaitra 29 to Baisakh 3 in the highest place of the district, Syaulibang. He also mentioned that the festival aims to promote tourism in Kothebir (3659 meters), the highest altitude place in the district, along with the commercialization of local products.
The organizers have also progressed in the preparations for the fair.
