The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) Gandaki launches a comprehensive Promotion and Sales campaign in China, spearheaded by the Nepal Tourism Board. The initiative, titled "Pokhara – Nepal Tourism Promotion and Sales Mission in China," aims to boost tourism in Pokhara and the Gandaki region.

The campaign will kick off with NATTA Gandaki's participation in the Guangzhou International Travel Fair 2024, which will take place from May 16th to 18th. Following the fair, the team will move to Beijing to conduct the Nepal Sales Mission and B2B program. This program is organized by the Nepal Tourism Board and coordinated by the Embassy of Nepal in China.

During the Guangzhou International Travel Fair, NATTA Gandaki will present documentaries showcasing tourism activities in Pokhara and across Nepal. They will also distribute promotional materials to attract more visitors to the region. The mission includes engaging with business leaders and relevant agencies to discuss the possibility of launching international flights from Pokhara International Airport, which was constructed with financial support from the Chinese government.

The Nepal Sales Mission and B2B program in Beijing will further promote Nepal's tourism offerings, fostering economic and tourism development through strategic partnerships and collaborations. Tour and travel professionals, along with other stakeholders from the tourism industry and the Nepal Tourism Board, will participate in these efforts, aiming to enhance Nepal's visibility in the global tourism market and increase foreign tourist arrivals.

Historically, NATTA has organized international promotional campaigns and sales missions, along with various activities such as promotional sightseeing tours to enhance domestic tourism. The association's efforts aim to attract more foreign tourists to Nepal by marketing the tourism potential of Pokhara, the Gandaki province, and Nepal as a whole in the global market through these promotional and sales initiatives.
