In a historic achievement for Bhutan, Lieutenant Jigme Pelden Dorji successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest at 9:30 A.M. (Nepal Time) today, May 20, 2024. Accompanied by experienced guide Chakra Rai and supported by the team at Pioneer Adventure, Jigme Dorji has made his mark as the first Bhutanese to conquer the world's highest peak.
