The WMCC 2024 was a significant event held at Hotel Soaltee and was organized by the Nepal Government, Khaalisisi, Confederation of Nepalese Industries, National Human Rights Commission, and Coca-Cola Foundation, with co-organization by WHR and CNIYEF. The conference aimed to promote sustainable practices and chart a collective path toward a greener future.

The event saw a gathering of esteemed attendees, including Chief Guest Hon. Narayan Prasad Dahal, Chairperson of the National Assembly, as well as other prominent figures such as Hon. Mihir Thakur, Hon. Birendra Mahato, various Members of Parliament, mayors, and environmental advocates from different sectors. These influential leaders came together to discuss and promote initiatives for better waste management and climate action.
