The attractive scenery of Charinge Daha, a tourist destination located in Ghorahi Sub Metropolitan City-1, attracts domestic tourists who go there to observe. At one time, it was very quiet, but now domestic tourists come to see it every day. Locals say that this temple has succeeded in attracting tourists.
Surrounded by dense forest, this Daha is winning the hearts of tourists. The Daha is especially busy on Saturdays and holidays with picnickers and those who seek a getaway. A few years ago, this Daha was not even heard of, nor was it worth seeing. "'Charinge', which was only a small pond, has now become a big lake," said Kamala Pokhrel, a local resident. He added, "Because of the thought and efforts of the local people that Charinge Daha should be developed and protected as a tourist area. This pond has now turned into a Daha."
He said that everyone's cooperation is very necessary to develop the Daha as a tourist spot in the district, but due to lack of budget, the much needed infrastructure could not be built.
Earlier, the Sabik District Development Committee, Nepal Tourism Development Board, Charinge Daha Community Forest Group and five women's groups there also gathered support for the conservation of the Daha. The people of Rampur-6 and 7, who have come together for the preservation of Daha, have also engaged in commercial fish farming some time ago to make Daha a dynamic source of income._RSS
