The Gandaki state government has set aside money for the construction of infrastructure in the tourism industry

There are many tourist destinations in Nawalpur located in the middle of Nepal. There are many natural and religious tourist areas in the district, but some of the tourist areas have been overshadowed due to the lack of development of necessary infrastructure.

For the development of infrastructure in the tourism sector, the Gandaki state government has allocated a budget of Rs 1.9 million in the district this year. Recently, it has been assigned to the previous office of domestic and small industries to do tourism-related work as well.

After that, the name of the office has also been kept as Tourism and Industry Office. Through the Office of Tourism and Industry, Nawalpur, a plan worth Rs. 1 crore 19 lakh.

Most of the budget programs allocated for the development of the tourism sector have plans for the construction of footpaths. Due to the lack of necessary infrastructure in most of the tourist areas in the district, the number of tourists in those areas is low.

Apart from this, there are plans for the construction and management of the necessary infrastructure for various parks. A minimum of Rs.5 lakh to Rs.10 lakh has been allocated for each scheme.

“If the necessary infrastructure can be developed in the tourist area and the area can be promoted, it will become a destination for domestic and foreign tourists.” Said Jit Narayan Thanet, a tourism businessman from Kawasoti

Tourism infrastructure development will be done at 17 places in Nawalpur. The budget has been allocated for 17 tourist destinations in the district in the current financial year. Earlier, we could not do the work in the field of tourism, but this year, the office's responsibilities have been increased and the budget has also come accordingly. This year, 17 plans have been selected, and we will work on infrastructure development in those plans. Priority has been given to the construction of footpaths for easy movement in tourist places," said Sagar Khanal, Head of Tourism and Industry Office, Nawalpur._Rss
