Manang, a popular tourist destination in the Himalayan district, has seen a significant influx of tourists from January to May 7 this year, with a total of 8,220 visitors. Among them, 5,056 were male and 3,163 were female, representing 42 countries worldwide. The post-COVID situation in Nepal has contributed to an increase in tourist traffic, particularly among those interested in trekking along the Annapurna route.
The majority of the tourists visited the area for trekking purposes, according to the Chief of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), Lekhnath Gautam. In January 2023, the highest number of visitors (69) came from South Korea._Rss
