Devotees erected the ceremonial pole "Indradhoj" (Yonshi) in Hanumandhoka, Kathmandu, to mark the beginning of the eight-day Indra Jatra festival. Indra Jatra is a festival celebrated in commemoration of Lord Indra, the heavenly king.
