Following Swyambhunath and Bouddhanath in Kathmandu, Namobudha is one of the three most significant Buddhist holy places. It is situated 45 kilometers along the Banepa–Panauti highway on a beautiful hill. With its tranquil surroundings and verdant hills, the historically significant Namobuddha has become known as a key Buddhist pilgrimage site. Every year, more and more foreign tourists visit the location thanks to the site's growing popularity as a tourist destination.
The pilgrimage site of Namo Buddha is about forty kilometers from the Boudhanath Stupa. Located on slightly elevated land, it is a pleasant and out-of-the way place.
