A soirée like no other

A sumptuous palette of cheese paired with wine and a night at the movies, sums up Hotel Annapurna’s lively evening

Hotel Annapurna held a Wine and Cheese soiree on May 18, celebrating high spirits followed by a movie at Q’s Cinemas, Rising Mall. Contemporary tastes paired with great wine from Nederburg, a lively crowd in an informal setting, all called for a celebration.

The who’s who in Kathmandu came together for the event, where sparkling white and rich red wines from the vineyards of South Africa were on display along with a fruity assortment of mocktails. A lavish spread was laid out for guests to enjoy. An assortment of extravagant, mouthwatering cheese accompanied the delicious wines. From Yak Tomme, Bocconcini, salads, cold cuts to shrimp cocktails; the spread was indeed lavish.

Guests mingled and later joined Q’s Cinemas to enjoy a night at the movies. Screening ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’, one could say it was an action-packed evening.
