Hyatt Regency Kathmandu celebrated World Environment Day 2025 with Global Compact Nepal and Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol, highlighting climate-conscious and cultural initiatives. Activities included tree planting and the installation of sustainable prayer flags at Boudhanath Stupa.

Kathmandu, June 6, 2025 – Hyatt Regency Kathmandu joined hands with Global Compact Nepal to honor World Environment Day 2025, spotlighting climate-conscious initiatives and cultural sustainability.

Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu, Ms. Sunita Dangol, attended the event, which featured the planting of trees on the hotel premises. The celebration also included a meaningful partnership with Lal Dhanus International Services to produce and install eco-conscious prayer flags at the Boudhanath Stupa. These flags serve as emblems of peace, sustainability, and community harmony.
