On November 23, Fairfield by Marriott welcomed guests for the inauguration of their South Indian Food Festival with grandeur. Complete with garlands of marigolds, a rich blend of spices in the air and wait staff in traditional South Indian garb; the event was blessed with a huge turnout on the first day itself.
The ten-day long festival at the Kava Restaurant is offering an intriguing treat to diners. Curated by Chef Thirumal Mohan from Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield with the in-house culinary team, the dinner experience will be nothing like you’ve ever tasted.
His Excellency Manjeev Singh Puri, Ambassador of India to Nepal inaugurated the event in the presence of Chairman of MS Group, Sashi Kant Agarwal; Managing Director Nepal Hospitality and Hotel Pvt Ltd, Gaurav Agarwal; Hotel Manager, Sanjeev Mandal and other distinguished guests.
A lineup of ethnic dances, majestic tabla performances, and songs from Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India Kathmandu positively revived the authenticity and charm of South India.
The numerous stalls at Kava Restaurant bring together a cuisine from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana, full of flavour and aroma using homemade spices. The buffet dinner entails a sumptuous array of meat delicacies, seafood entrees, distinctively spiced biryani, and a range of mouth-watering desserts, fresh fruits and unlimited house beverages.
