Most parts of the movie were shot in Solukhumbu and Manang, including the Everest region.

Sooraj Barjatya is back with a one-of-a-kind family entertainer starring veteran actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta and Sarika, along with Parineeti Chopra.

The teaser depicts the group of four friends still debating the concept of summiting Mt. Everest, but Danny passes away from old age before they can even reach a decision. And now we have this group of three surviving friends who decide to fulfil Danny’s wish by immersing his ashes at Mt. Everest. Parineeti comes on board to train them for their task and eventually makes it possible with Neena and Sarika in company. The trailer concludes with Kishore Kumar’s ‘Yeh Jeevan Hai’ playing in the background as they finally fulfil their ambition.

The film was shot at Kathmandu, Swoyambhu, Tribhuvan International Airport and the world’s most dangerous Airport, Tenzing Hillary Airport. Most of the film was shot in Solukhumbu and Manang, including the Everest region. The shooting took place in Nepal for 25 days.

The trailer also shows the four friends having fun, dancing, and singing while dressed in traditional Nepali Dhaka topis. Aside from that, you can see the Sherpa people with their traditional dress and culture, as well as monasteries, mountains, rivers, and various destination sites that most of you intend to visit.

Uunchai is the 60th film produced by Sooraj Barjatya’s Rajshri Productions and will be released in theatres on November 11. Sunil Gandhi wrote it, and Natasha Malpani Oswal produced it.
