Kathmandu, August 19, 2025 — TikTok and the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) announced a strategic partnership to promote Nepal’s breathtaking scenery, rich cultural traditions, and adventure opportunities to audiences worldwide.
At the heart of the collaboration was #LifetimeExperiences, a creator-led campaign featuring a dedicated in-app experience designed to help travellers uncover Nepal’s iconic attractions as well as lesser-known treasures.

Through this initiative, TikTok and NTB partnered with both local and international travel creators, supporting them as they explored Nepal and shared their journeys through engaging short-form videos. The content spotlighted the country’s natural wonders and vibrant culture—including festivals, arts, cuisine, and community life—with the aim of inspiring travelers around the globe.
As part of the program, NTB hosted visiting creators, coordinating travel, hospitality, and expert guidance to provide authentic access to destinations across Kathmandu Valley and beyond. Prominent public figures, artists, and cultural ambassadors also joined campaign activities to further amplify Nepal’s story.

To strengthen local participation, TikTok and NTB ran three capacity-building workshops in Nepal for domestic travel creators, offering practical training in digital storytelling, audience engagement, and brand collaboration. Additionally, TikTok provided training for Nepali small businesses and tourism operators on how to effectively use the platform to showcase their services to a wider audience.
Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, Chief Executive Officer of the Nepal Tourism Board, said: "This partnership marks an exciting new chapter in how we share Nepal’s story with the world. The collaboration rolled out across 2025, delivering a steady stream of creator-led content on TikTok alongside a #VisitNepal in-app hub. The campaign culminated with a #VisitNepal event in Kathmandu later that year, bringing together creators, tourism leaders, and cultural representatives to celebrate Nepal as a must-visit destination.
Travellers followed the journey on TikTok via #LifetimeExperiences and #VisitNepal.
