The snow leopard photos are a composite produced from “two to four images”

Kittiya Pawlowski, an American photographer discovered the snow leopard, which made headlines throughout Nepal and many other nations. However, it has now been revealed that the photos were altered.

Pawlowski adamantly claims to Petapixel that she did visit Nepal and take pictures of snow leopards. According to her, she managed to photograph the snow leopard outside of Gorak shep, Nepal. The snow leopard photos are a composite produced from “two to four images” but rejected Petapixel’s demands to view the original, unedited images.

The Times of London was one of many prominent media outlets, along with PetaPixel, to publish the deceptive images.

On her website, Kittiya wrote a lengthy explanation of how she was able to take pictures on her amazing voyage. However, Kittiya’s photographs came under scrutiny after a spectacular and correct assertion that her creations were composites was made by a France magazine.

A widely circulated upright image from Kittiya’ series purporting to depict a snow leopard at the base of the massive Mount Pumori has been exposed by Apline Mag as being excessively manipulated.

“The story behind this series is true, all of the images are taken by me,” Kittiya insisted to PetaPixel.

“To clarify, all my images are edited and processed in Photoshop and lightroom. Some images are composited, and some are not. Some are only lightly retouched. I am NOT a journalist. I never stated my images were not edited anywhere.” Kittiya stated on her website.
