The date has been set: Pokhara International Airport to operate from 2023

After many delays, Nepal’s 3rd International airport will finally start its operation on January 1, 2023

Pokhara International Airport will be operational from January 1, 2023. The decision took place on Sunday in a meeting of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal as per the spokesperson of the authority, Jagannath Niraula. 

The physical construction for the airport has been completed. The work was delayed for some time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It’s yet to be decided which country will supply air services to Pokhara International Airport as no international airline has been officially approved or requested to operate. Source_combined
