Water level in the river continues to fluctuate since Saturday, said Area Police Office, Gaddachowki. The current flow is 223, 200, said chief of the office sub-inspector Jeevan Gurung.

Meanwhile, the floods in the Mahakali river has displaced six households in Aerighat of Bhimdutta municipality-12. The displaced are taking shelter at the Janata primary school premises.

The local administration has warned people living in the coastal areas to remain alert.
