Ratnanagar, Khairhani, Kalika and Rapti municipalities have decided to implement restrictive measures for a week beginning from this midnight.
A joint meeting of the local governments today took a decision in this regard.
Rapti municipality mayor Prabha Baral said that there is no other alternative except for implementing the restrictive measures as the virus is increasing rapidly.
CDO Narayan Prasad Bhattarai said that prohibitory order was requested by the four levels and in regard to the request district administration is issuing order starting today through a notice.
The meeting also agreed to build a COVID-19 isolation facility and laboratory in Ratnagar.
