"Heli Tour" has started in Khaptad, a major religious tourist site of Sudurpaschim Province. Heli tour package is going to be conducted in collaboration with Summit Air.
With the aim of supporting internal tourism, Summit Air has arranged a two-day package to go to Khaptad from Khaptad's gateway, Zhigrana. Khaptad Adventure Heli Tour has been started in coordination with 'Khaptad Homestay' which is located in Pur chowki Rural Municipality of Doti.
The Khaptad Adventure Heli Tour which started today will be conducted till Chaitra 12th. Passengers travelling from Doti's Zhigrana to Khaptad will be charged a fee of up to Rs 10,000 per person.
“‘Heli tour' has been started for viewing and promoting the religious and touristic places of Khaptad,” said Deepak Bahadur Khadka, managing director of Khaptad Homestay Zhigrana and Khaptad Adventure Tours.
Khadka has brought a short package from Zhigrana to visit Khaptad by helicopter. The 'Heli Tour Package' will be available from today till the 12th. Tourists will be given at least half an hour to visit Khaptad and take photos. Khadka informed that there is a plan to bring 300 tourists to Khaptad in five days.
There are Triveni temples, 22 Patans in Khaptad, which is the confluence of the four hilly districts of Far West, Bajhang, Bajura, Doti and Acham districts. There are Kedar stone, Khaptadbaba's heritage, different types of flowers and birds.
Khaptad, which is known as the heaven, is at a height of 2,700 to 3,227 meters above sea level. There is also a very rare marshy meadow here in the world. Lately, Khaptad, which is known as a paradise, is becoming the choice of tourists day by day._Rss
