The Nick Simons Institute has aided the government with medical equipment essential in the treatment of coronavirus.
Dr Anil Shrestha, on behalf of the Institute, handed 10 portable ventilators and 1000 sets of personal protective equipment (PPEs) to Minister for Health and Population. Receiving the assistance materials, the Minister thanked the Institute for its valuable support during this crisis. He added that a win over the virus was only possible through combined efforts.
As the Minister said, six portable ventilators (two each) will be sent to Dhangadhi, Butwal and Baglung immediately while four will be placed in standby for emergency purposes. Similarly, Dr Shrestha said they were happy to cooperate with the government in times of difficulty. He said they were trying their best to provide more assistance to the government.
