A bridge constructed over the Setidobhan along the Narayangarh-Muglin road has come into operation. The Setidobhan bridge, among 15 other under-construction bridges, has been brought into operation. With the 65-meter bridge coming into use, the Narayangarh-Muglin road distance has been reduced by 100 meters. Chief of the Narayangarh-Muglin Road Project, Kiran Karki, shared that the bridge has come into operation two years after its construction started. It has also averted the compulsion to slow down vehicular speed along the Setidobhan road section with turns and twists.
The Lamo Baluwa, Dumre, Rigdi, and Simaltal bridges will also come into operation within this month. According to him, the finishing work is being carried out on the bridges. The construction of 15 bridges had started three years ago at a cost of Rs 1.27 billion. The contract for the bridge's construction was awarded to Janak Construction. The extended deadline for construction expires in mid-December 2023. The other eight bridges being constructed will come into operation around October or November this year. Daily, 10,000 plus vehicles ply through the Narayangarh-Muglin road section._Rss
