The North Namkha village of Humla has been free of corona since Sunday. Yalwang of Namkha has been released from corona again after 44 people tested negative for corona by antigen method on Sunday. The students, who had been in isolation for 14 days, were discharged from the corona test on Sunday.
According to CICT member and HA Pema Chuki Lama of Muchu Health Post, Namkha village municipality has become a corona-free municipality.
According to Lama, the students living in the hostel of Mahabuddha Secondary School in Yalwang have returned home after the reports of all those living in isolation were negative.
Gyachu Lama, in-charge of the Yalwang Health Post, said that the number of corona infections in Yalwang has been reduced to zero since Sunday. "Some of the 54 people who were discharged on Sunday did not show any signs of infection and if they do, the scope of the test will be extended," said Lama.
A few days ago, when the corona was tested at the community level in Ward No. 4 with a large population, no one was seen. Fifty-four people, including three staff members of Mahabuddha Yalwang and 32 students, have been discharged from 35 infected and 19 students from religious schools. Two infected have been taken to Kathmandu.
