Mountain flight is considered very attractive for viewing the attractive and picturesque snow ranges including Mount Everest. Domestic and foreign passengers are very eager for mountain flights. There is a mountain flight from Tribhuvan International Airport located in the capital Kathmandu at 7 am. The mountain flight is about one hour. Businessmen say that this is a great offer for those who cannot go on foot.
Buddha Air has set a fare of Rs 15,000 for mountain flights. This price is for Nepalese and Indians. Foreign citizens of other countries have been fixed at 230 US dollars. Yeti Airlines has also been offering mountain flights for Rs 15,000. Currently, airlines are operating daily mountain flights according to passenger demand.
Mountain flight has been operating daily. Currently, 20 airline companies, including 11 helicopter companies, are operating domestic flights through this airport. The airport reports that nearly 13,000 passengers are traveling through Sardar on 180 flights daily in both directions.
“The mountain flight is going on encouragingly due to the favorable weather. Mountain flights have increased rapidly, and good bookings are coming until Tihar, we believe that this trend will increase” said Sudarshan Bertaula, the spokesperson of Yeti Airlines.

In this season many foreigners come to visit and in the winter season the clouds are less and the snow ranges are better visible under the blue sky, so the attraction of mountain flying increases.” Said Dipendra Karna, Buddha Air’s information officer.
“The destination is full of domestic and foreign tourists during the tourist season. Domestic tourism is very good in this season, now the weather is supporting us, and positive enthusiasm has been added to tourism.” Said Vinayak Shah, the first vice president of the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN).
