The tidying up existing internet wires in Thamel, the main tourist destination of the capital, has been started. Thamel Tourism Development Council has started to cut the internet wires that are haphazardly scattered to make Thamel clean and orderly.
The Thamel Tourism Development Council had a meeting and started the work of cutting the wire and managing it. The council has started the wire management work in areas such as Satghumti to Sohrkhutte, Quahbahal to Jyatha, Narsingh Chowk to Bhagwati Marg and other areas. 80 percent of people who come to Nepal visit Thamel. Thamel is included in Ward No. 16, 17, 26 and 29 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Two thousand two hundred businessmen and house owners are members of Thamel Tourism Council.
“Because the beauty of the Thamel was affected due to the wires scattered here and there, the cutting of the wires was started. Since four days, in collaboration with various internet provider companies, we have started cutting the wires hanging on the electricity poles in Thamel and which are more than necessary,” said Sahadev Dhamala, the vice president of the council._Rss
