Ten young people who set out from Tanahun to Mustang met yesterday at ‘The Cliff Resort’ in Kushma. They were unable to complete the bungee jump despite the fact that Kushma was designed as a transit point.
“The booking was done a week ago, so there was no question of our turn, instead we took the 'zipline' experience. I would stay in Kushma on Saturday and plan the trip to Mustang on Sunday Morning.” Said Dipesh Paudel, one of the group's members
“Even though I had planned to come on Dashain, the plan was successful on Tihar.” Said Sharmila Gurung who came from Chitwan was also taking pictures with her husband and daughter on the suspension bridge.
“However, the number of tourists who make Kushma a destination is very low. Even if they come to Kushma, there are few tourists who stay. Most of the tourists come to see bungee in private vehicles and return to Pokhara, so the market is not promoted.” Said Mausam KC, a restaurant owner.
“The number of people who crossed the suspension bridge of Kushma is more than 2000 on Saturday alone. 500 rupees per person only to cross the bridge. I was busy in the morning, on Saturday there was a crowd of people playing sky cycling, skychair, skycafe, and ping-pong. Even the 'tents' staying at the resort were full.” Said ‘The Cliff’ company._Rss
