Intrepid DMC Nepal, a division of the globally recognized responsible travel company Intrepid Travel, has been awarded the prestigious Grand Title Award in the Sustainability and Social Responsibility category at the PATA 2024 Gold Awards. The event took place on August 28 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The accolade celebrates the success of Intrepid DMC Nepal’s initiative, "More Intrepid Women for Nepal," which aims to foster greater opportunities for women in the travel sector. Intrepid DMC Nepal is one of 29 destination management companies (DMCs) under the Intrepid Travel umbrella, committed to driving positive change through sustainable travel practices.
Ashish Verma, Country General Manager of Intrepid Travel Nepal, expressed pride in the company’s dedication to sustainability.“Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in every aspect of our operations, from championing climate action and reducing waste to supporting local non-profits that positively impact our communities”, Verma stated.
He further emphasized the importance of the "More Intrepid Women for Nepal" initiative, which is breaking barriers and creating opportunities for women in the travel industry.
