Adhering to its core CSR objective of Societal Responsibility, Himalaya Airlines, continued its annual contribution to Prayas Nepal under the "Step Towards Education" campaign

Himalaya Airlines remains steadfast in its commitment to societal responsibility with its annual "Step Towards Education" campaign. Since 2017, this initiative has been a cornerstone of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavors, focusing on empowering underprivileged children through education.

This year, on April 10, 2024, Ms. Ujjwala Dali, Head of Department – Brand, spearheaded the initiative by delivering essential educational materials to the children of Prayas Nepal. These materials, ranging from course books to school bags and shoes, mark Himalaya Airlines' ongoing dedication to supporting education.

In addition to this annual contribution, Himalaya Airlines organized a special field trip to the Aviation Museum in Sinamangal Kathmandu, enriching the children's knowledge and providing them with a firsthand glimpse into aviation history. By igniting their curiosity and broadening their horizons, Himalaya Airlines aims to inspire these children beyond the confines of traditional classroom learning.

The Aviation Museum generously supported this endeavor by offering free entrance and guided tours for the children, enhancing their experience and understanding of aviation.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the initiative, Ms. Ujjwala Dali emphasized Himalaya Airlines' belief in the transformative power of experiential education. She highlighted the campaign's goal of not only providing educational support but also fostering a passion for exploration and learning among underprivileged children.

Ms. Mani Joshi, President of Prayas Nepal, conveyed her heartfelt appreciation for Himalaya Airlines' unwavering support. She noted the profound impact of the Aviation Museum field trip, emphasizing how such initiatives contribute to the academic growth and broader horizons of the children, paving the way for new possibilities.
