Himalaya Airlines is excited to announce the launch of its charter flight service from Kunming Changshui International Airport in China to Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, starting on April 13, 2023. The airline's H9 785 Airbus A320-214 brought in 180 Chinese tourist passengers on its inaugural flight and is set to welcome a total of 700 more passengers in the upcoming charter flights.
After three years of pandemic-related restrictions, Himalaya Airlines aims to increase tourism in Nepal with this significant step of initiating Nepal's first charter flight services from China. H9 Vice President, Mr. Vijay Shrestha expressed his excitement and gratitude to the government officials of both countries for their support in making the charter flight service possible. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Nepal and China.
