Hetauda Hospital has started oxygen production from Sunday. The oxygen plant set up by the hospital has the capacity to produce 15 filled oxygen cylinders on a daily basis against its demand for over 100 filled cylinders, said the hospital. 

Meanwhile, the construction of an oxygen plant with production capacity of 150 filled oxygen cylinders daily is underway. The project has been started from Hetauda Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 
To meet the demands for the life-saving oxygen, the Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City has been supplying oxygen to Makawanpur district from Itahari and Nuwakot, said the sub metropolis chief Hari Bahadur Mahat. 

At present, a total of 54 COVID-19 infected persons are undergoing treatment at the hospital run by the Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences, said the hospital.
