Harsingdanda as a tourist destination

Ward No. 3 of the Lamjung Marsyangdi Rural Municipality, Domestic travellers began staying and touring in Harsingdanda, and the area began to grow as a tourist destination.

The likelihood of the second wave of coronavirus declining has started to draw more tourists to this region. Most of the tourist villages of Marsyangdi Rural Municipality, including Siurung, Bhusme, Manbhai, Ghanpokhara, can be seen from this hill.

Similarly, South Asia's sample Ghalegaun Danda, Kalmedanda, Besisahar Bazar, Nagbeli of Marsyangdi River, Manaslu Rains, Buddha Himal etc. can be observed.

“The local people and stakeholders should unite in the campaign to create a tourist destination by protecting the historical and tourist site Harsingdanda.” Said Prem Bahadur Basnet, the outgoing ward president of Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-3

“Last year 100 to 200 tourists came to the historical and touristic places every day, and this year too, around 40 tourists started coming every day after the rains stopped.” Said Purna Bahadur Gurung, a local tourism businessman.
