Air fuel refueling has started at Tulsipur-12 Tarigaun airport in Dang where fuel was transported from Kathmandu

The ship was refueled on Sunday after it did not arrive even though it has storing fuel on Saturday. Fuel used to need to be transported from Kathmandu before the depot was built.

The depot at Tarigaun has the capacity to store 30,000 liters of fuel, while Bowser can store 11,000 liters.

Even if regular flight services are operated, fuel can be delivered for three months. If fuel is urgently needed, it can be supplied immediately from Nepalgunj and there will be no problem in supply.

Fuel was kept at the depot of the airport six months ago. A team including one technician from the central office of the Oil Corporation, two technicians from the Bhairahawa office in the province, and one technician from the Nepalgunj office came to the airport and refueled the fuel.

It was refueled only after the fourth attempt. Previously, refueling could not be done due to various reasons. After the depot was built, it was sent to India for lab testing. After testing from India and also at the central office, refueling was done on Sunday after it was qualified to be refueled. A 19-seater Twinator aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation is operating in Tarigaun.

As the runway of the airport is only 750 meters, large ships are unable to land. As a result, passengers are forced to pay expensive fares. Dang-Kathmandu's minimum fare is 8 thousand 810 rupees, while the maximum fare is 12 thousand 665 rupees. If it comes to Dang than Kathmandu, it is Rs 200 more. Since there are 500 rupees for passenger service in Kathmandu, and 300 rupees in Dang, it will cost 200 rupees more when coming from Kathmandu to Dang.

“460 liters of fuel was refueled on the ship of Nepal Air Corporation on Sunday. We refueled the plane for the first time. Now there will be regular refueling," Said Jagdishchandra Yadav, the state head of Nepal Oil Corporation.

“Although there was a situation where fuel had to be stored in the seat, now there is no such problem. Earlier, we had to keep the fuel in the seat of the plane and bring it from Kathmandu. Now that problem will be removed. It is expected that the passenger will be kept in the fuel-carrying seat and it can reduce the fare,” said Mahendra Sharma, head of Airline Corporation Dang._Rss
